Women-Owned Companies to Consider For Your Wedding

Who runs the world? Girls!

As a women-owned small business, it’s important to us to support and uplift other women-led businesses, especially if they’re also in the wedding industry!

Considering your wedding is one of the most expensive events you will spend money on in your life, why not support a few women-led businesses while you’re at it? Today, we’re sharing five women-owned businesses that will come in handy for your wedding needs. Much like us, these women-owned companies are here to disrupt the norm, creating companies and products that are innovative and available to all types of women. We love a business with a mission, and know you will too!

Beauty: Uoma Beauty

We love a beauty brand with a message! Uoma Beauty was founded by Sharon Cuter in 2018 to shake up the beauty industry. One of its main missions is to promote inclusivity in the beauty industry, providing products that are accessible to all skin types. Plus, all of the products are cruelty-free and 100% vegetarian. If you’re looking for some high-quality products, their award-winning foundation comes in 51 shades and their badass icon matte lipsticks are highly pigmented and are all named after iconic women – just like our wedding dresses!

Jewelry: Mejuri

This Instagram-famous jewelry brand was founded in 2013 by Noura Sakkija, Massoud Saakija, and Majed Masad. At LVB we’re all about fair pricing and Mejuri is making fine jewelry without the excessive retail markups. Their fair pricing model can give you stunning bridal jewelry at a fraction of the price. Not only do they have tons of ring, earring, and necklace options for a bride, but they also have men’s jewelry if you’re looking for a simple wedding band or necklace for your groom!

Invitations: Minted

One item every bride will need for her wedding – invitations! Minted was founded by Mariam Naficy in 2007, as a company that supports independent artists and designers. It has become one of the most popular places to order wedding invitations from and it’s not hard to see why. They have hundreds of options for save-the-dates, wedding invitations, RSVP cards, etc. and you have the option to make design adjustments and customizations to any of their designs. They also have specific budget-friendly options if you are looking to save some money on your invitations, which we love!
