The Dress

WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN DRESS SHOPPING?
The typical recommendation is 8-10 months before your wedding. However, at Lyra Vega, our turnaround time from order to shipment is 8 weeks. Therefore, our brides have the luxury of some procrastination! We do suggest allowing at least 5 weeks for alterations with your local tailor leading up to your wedding date, in case that is needed!

TL;DR: If you shop with us, ordering 4 months prior to your wedding will be sufficient.

SIZING
Once you’ve found your gown, take a look at our measurements guide and have someone help you take your measurements. From there, you are able to either match those measurements to our size chart and order your dress as close to your current size as possible, or order a custom sized dress based on your measurements!

DO YOU PROVIDE ALTERATIONS?
We do not provide in-house alterations. However, the Lyra Vega experience is designed to require minimal alterations. In addition to receiving a gown closest to your measurements, most of our gowns are designed with corset tie-backs, allowing for some flexibility for the gown to shape to your body, and also endure some changes leading up to your wedding date (think, your dress won’t fall off even if you manage to lose those last 3lbs)! Keep in mind that since we are all shaped differently, some alterations might still be needed! 


Payment, Delivery, & Returns

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?
We accept payment by Paypal, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express credit and debit cards.

HOW FAST ARE ORDERS PROCESSED?
We process orders within 1-2 business days and send your specifications to our dressmakers, who then prepares your dress specifically for you. Once your dress is ready (typically under 2 months), we ship them to you via FedEx and UPS.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Shipping cost is included with all orders. 

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
We ship standard for all orders. It takes about 4-8 business days depending on your location.

WHERE IS MY ORDER?
A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you once your gown has been shipped. All shipped packages can be tracked using the tracking number provided with the carrier.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
For now, we are only offering shipping within the US.
